Oh how I love Maternity Sessions❤️ These sessions inspire me like no other and I’m totally ecstatic that I’ve booked so many lately. I know so many people who are pregnant right now including one of my best friends and I cannot wait to watch her become a mom. It’s by far one of the best feelings in the world. I think that’s why I love Maternity so much. I get to watch a mom radiate love for her baby before she even holds them in her arms. In my head I’m thinking “Oh mama you have no idea the overwhelming love that is about to consume you once you have that baby in your arms.” I thought I knew what it’d feel like. I thought I was prepared for how much I’d love my daughter but man….it was a wild experience. I had a pretty traumatic birth but once I had her in my arms I legitimately didn’t sleep but a few hours for 3 days because I couldnt take my eyes off of her beautiful face. I was delusional at the end! Lol.
To all the women out there carrying a little angel in your belly; take the photos. You may not be feeling your best. You may feel a little uncomfortable in your new body. You’ll be tired and just ready to have that baby in your arms but I promise it’s such an important moment in your life and when you look back you’ll be glad you documented the process of creating that perfect little life.
When you choose me as your maternity photographer you’ll have access to my client wardrobe and some of my maternity gowns should you want to use them. I find a lot of clients don’t want to buy a gown to wear one time and I totally get it. There are many expenses that come along with a new baby and I can understand not wanting to splurge on a gown.
If you already have a baby or babies, bring them with you to the session so we can include them! Adding a new bundle of joy to your little family is such an exciting time for everyone, including your babies! I think it’s important to freeze the memories of your first little before they become a big brother or sister. They were the ones that made you a mama and these will be some of the last photos of you and them before your family grows by one!
